I didn’t always want to be a photographer. As a child I envisioned being a pediatrician. As I grew older, and even in my first year of college, I spent my time studying and dreaming of becoming an elementary school teacher. Clearly I have a love for babies and young children.
After my first year of college, I made a drastic change and applied for a photography program at our local college. Enjoying what I do for a living has always been heavy on my heart, and I knew this was the path I needed to take. Since graduation, I have spent the past eleven years discovering, learning and crafting the art of Newborn Photography.
I spend most my days chasing around our two boys, and when I get a chance to myself I enjoy DIYing, antiquing and doing anything hands on (especially when power tools are involved).
With a major love and passion for babies and children, this job is everything I have dreamed of. It is so rewarding and fulling to capture memories that families can cherish for a lifetime.

safety
The most important thing I practice during every newborn session is safety. While it’s not instantly apparent, almost all of the newborn images you see in my porfolio have a parents or my hand just outside the frame protecting your little one. I have learned how to properly pose your baby, how to move them from pose to pose, and how to get each pose to be comfy yet look squishy.
experience
I love what I do, which has enabled me to pour my heart and soul into learning and perfecting this craft. Patience; posing; soothing, shushing and rocking; getting that smile; and so much more. The click of the camera is the quick part, but comforting your little one, and safely posing them is where all the hard work is—and I work for it. Because of this, you will get something completely unique and custom to you.

Props, props and more props! We have invested in a variety of “Instagram-worthy” props that allow for unique and one-of-a-kind images, specially curated so they look great along side that fresh baby skin. You can simply show up, with no worries, and we have got you covered for the perfect session.
